Principal / General Counsel

Mr. Ritchie is principal and general counsel of PCI. He has extensive experience representing corporate and individual clients in their U.S. and international business and personal interests. He has sourced and structured deals and has performed on-site due diligence internationally for U.S. and international family offices, startups and entrepreneurs. He has assisted individuals with trusts and estates, as well as asset protection, recovery and estate liquidation. Past deals have focused upon direct investment and expansion opportunities including agriculture, hotel, hospitality, biotechnology, entertainment businesses, real estate, consumer products, manufacturing, logistics and infrastructure. He managed the family office of his family and served as General Counsel for a US family office in Nevada and Geneva, Switzerland. During law school Mr. Ritchie worked with the Art Law Group at the firm Mishcon de Reya in London and as a lead research assistant in the Office of the Clerk at the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington, D.C. Mr. Ritchie has a BA in Economics and Art History from Southern Methodist University and a JD from Pepperdine University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the States of New York and California. He is active in the County and New York State Bar Associations and he has published articles on art law, securities regulation, and family offices.

Katherine Hill Ritchie




Ms. Hill Ritchie founded PCI while she was working in Geneva, Switzerland in 2009. She was formerly CEO of PEX Global, a direct deal, co-investment and secondaries investment platform for family offices backed by a family office. She has been an advisor to several prominent single family offices and companies including Eden Capital, Nottingham Spirk Family Office, Simon Group Holdings and The Guild. Her work history includes deal sourcing and business development for Eden Capital, as a Director of Strategic Development for Nottingham Spirk Family Office, as an investment consulting work with Palladio Alternative Research SA in Switzerland and as a Senior Analyst and a member of the Investment Committee for the Saad Family Office in Geneva, where she conducted due diligence and manager selection for their $3.5 billion investment portfolio. Before working in Geneva, Ms. Hill Ritchie was in New York City, where she worked as a Director for Wedge Alternatives, a family office backed fund marketing firm and also Katherine received her MBA from the Fordham Graduate School of Business and her BS in Psychology from the University of Maryland. She has held several board and committee positions including: Global Co-Chair of the Advisory Board of The Guild, Vice Chair of ACG’s NYC Family Office Committee, Family Office Advisory Board Member of TriState Capital Private Bank,  Philanthropy and Education Committees of 100 Women in Finance, Fordham Graduate School of Business Overseers Board, ASK (All Special Kids), Lighthouse Organization, Cancer101 and has  been a mentor to 3 MBA students.
